Public Access to Truckee Donner Land Trust Properties

Yesterday the US Forest Service closed all National Forests in California due to unprecedented wildfire danger, as have other large landowners in the Truckee-Donner region.

Currently, land owned by the Truckee Donner Land Trust is open to non-motorized recreation. No camping is permitted with the exception of Webber Lake Campground. Webber Lake Campground is open to campers holding previously-acquired reservations. No open flames of any kind are allowed. Access, however, to Lower Carpenter Valley is closed. In places where TDLT owned lands adjoin U.S. Forest service lands, note that U.S. Forest Service Lands are closed.

Truckee Donner Land Trust is in communication with the US Forest Service, numerous fire agencies and other landowners regarding recreation management, and will provide updates as conditions change.
