Maggie Eshbaugh and Andrew Seier are passionate outdoors people living here in the Truckee-Tahoe region since 2016, skiing, climbing and running throughout the region. As they’ve become more involved in the outdoor community, they found the Truckee Donner Land Trust and chose to support its conservation work.

“We love having access to some of the most fantastic mountains and lakes on the planet,” Maggie said. “We also enjoy being part of a vibrant community of passionate mountain people.”

Andrew and Maggie support the Land Trust’s conservation and public access work in general, with a particular focus on Black Wall, Truckee Springs and the planned backcountry hut at Frog Lake.

“In a high-use region like Tahoe, where there is an extreme pressure to develop, smart conservation work is essential,” Maggie said. “It’s simple, whether Tahoe is your home or a place you like to visit, it just makes sense to help protect it. Together, our efforts can help make natural areas within this special region accessible for generations to come.”

Truckee Donner Land Trust is truly grateful for Maggie and Andrew’s support, and the support of every donor, volunteer and community member who has stepped up to support our mission. We’d love to hear your story and profile you as well. If you’re interested in telling us why you care about the work of the Land Trust, email greyson@tdlandtrust.org.
