Royal Gorge Temporary Trail Closures for Forestry

ATTENTION ROYAL GORGE TRAIL USERS: Certain Royal Gorge trails will be closed for the next 2-3 weeks for forestry work critical to the fire safety of the neighboring community and to the health of forest and watershed. We ask users to stay off these trails for their safety and so the work can be completed quickly so you can get back to hiking, running or riding soon.

The closed aras are:

- Hoelter-Hall Trailhead and parking lot

- Tiny Tim XC Trail

- Lower Sierra Watch Trail

- Bill and Flora's Trail

- Hewlett Rim Trail from top of Tiny Tim down to Serena Creek

- Little Drop XC Trail and parking area

- Silverado XC Trail

Access to Bogus Basin and Rowton Peak can be found from Claimjumper, Overload, or Jack's Jump. Caution should be exercised using Soda Springs Road in Serena Canyon with large equipment will be operating in the area. The rest of the property is open and accessible.
