Truckee Springs Update

Except for open space. And river access. And trails.

Except for open space. And river access. And trails.

Excitement continues to grow for Truckee Springs, and Truckee Donner Land Trust along with the Truckee Springs Campaign Committee continue to work full-steam ahead to protect the 26-acre riverside property and open it to the public by next summer.

Along with the $3,512,500 raised from public agencies and nonprofits, private donors from our community have already stepped up and contributed a combined $833,075! Our goal is to raise an additional $1,666,925 from the community, and we continue to seek out grants and other funding sources.

Every donation, big or small, helps and each member of our community able to step up and contribute brings us closer to our goal. For those looking to leave a mark, the Land Trust has numerous naming opportunities, from picnic tables to bike racks - contact Kate Frankfurt at kate@tdlandtrust.org to learn more.

And for those unable to contribute in these challenging times - we hope you’ll help us spread the word. Snap a selfie in front of our Coming Soon … Nothing sign on South River Street and tell your friends! Together we can create river access, trails and so much more right in the heart of downtown.
