WEBBER LAKE OPENING EARLY FOR MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

Webber Lake Campground opens early for the season on Friday, May 25, thanks to a warm spring and beautiful weather.

Early season is a great time to book a campsite and get away for the weekend. Campers can enjoy peace and quiet before summer hits full swing, and no fire restriction means campers can enjoy a campfire in the evening. Paddlers will find perfect glassy water for stand up paddleboarding or kayaking. And anglers won’t want to miss the best time of year for fishing: California Fish and Game will stock giant brood stock cutthroat trout from Heenen lake before opening, and brook, brown and rainbow trout are already biting.
